At the 19th anniversary of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, Commissioner Kim Jin-yong said that the best efforts would be made to make the city a desirable place to live with the best living conditions and competitiveness. He also said that efforts would be made to secure future growth engines by solving problems like the development of Songdo's 6th and 8th construction zones and getting past problems like the rise in the interest rate.

Incheon City and Sartorius signed a contract to sell land for a biopharmaceutical raw materials facility investment. Songdo Advanced Industrial Cluster (B) will start construction at the end of the year and be finished in 2025.
