At the 19th anniversary of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, Commissioner Kim Jin-yong said that the best efforts would be made to make the city a desirable place to live with the best living conditions and competitiveness. He also said that efforts would be made to secure future growth engines by solving problems like the development of Songdo's 6th and 8th construction zones and getting past problems like the rise in the interest rate.
The IFEZ Commissioner, Kim Jin-yong, said, "We will do our best to make a city where people want to live and visit, with the best settlement conditions and competitiveness, international businesses, and the advanced service industry hub, with the vision of a global business frontier."

Incheon City and Sartorius signed a contract to sell land for a biopharmaceutical raw materials facility investment.
Songdo Advanced Industrial Cluster (B) will start construction at the end of the year and be finished in 2025. Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, "We will do everything we can to help Songdo become a global center for making biopharmaceutical raw materials."
At Incheon City Hall on the 5th, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority said that it had signed a land sale contract with Sartorius Korea Operations.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority convened the 7th Incheon Free Economic Zone on recent interest rate hike, economic impact, and companies' response tasks.
The IFEZ Innovative Growth Platform facilitates win-win development talks, small meetings, and seminars.
Jang Geun-ho, chairman of the Planning and Investigation Team at the Bank of Korea's Incheon Headquarters, said small and medium-sized firms and major enterprises may encounter challenges due to the recent interest rate hike. He requested safety.
"Foreign currency liabilities must be handled to plan for risk variables," he said.
About 30 companies attended, including Celltrion, Samsung Biologics, POSCO E&C, Now Systems, Daifuku Korea, Kyungshin Holdings, and Iris Korea. Online and offline, KIIT, Green Umbrella, and Incheon National University participated.
